Perimeter Induction Unit. By giving each room its own individual induction unit, it was possible to satisfy the individual cooling and heating loads in these perimeter zones. The unit features improved energy efficiency and performance, providing increased value and benefit to the building owner.

Air is supplied at high velocity to terminal induction units, mainly perimeter mounted, which are fitted with heating and cooling coils. A perimeter induction unit is placed at each space which is to be air conditioned. The valve is small with a 4” diameter that takes up only 4.5 inches of duct run when installed inside the existing unit inlet.
